Error importing settings to new device

We current have a Win XP device running OL_Monitor and we are attempting to upgrade this device to Win 7. Running into an issue when trying to import/export the settings so that we don't have to manually enter all the settings on the new device.

We are able to get the monitor to show patients and refresh but all the settings (Sorting/filters/TATs-Alerts) aren't set and there are a lot of settings that need to be configured. There has got to be an easy way to do this.

Attempting to export with the .ini and then saved it as a .reg file and neither worked. .ini file I'm unable to select when importing and with the .reg file I get an error.

Error shows:

Error in: ExportImportReg #:5 Invalid procedure call or argument OlMonitor 680/680

Version 1.6.6

Any thoughts or help would be appreciated

Did updating to the latest version help? 1.66 is rather old and not designed to be compatible with Windows 7.

In the middle of this post, it describes restoring your backup from an ini file. Let me know if this does not work for you:

Also, when you reload imported settings, it may appear that your settings were not loaded. You may need to cycle through the settings locations to find your old settings. This post explains:

I have created a new method for importing settings from .ini files in version 1.88h.
If you are still having issues try updating your current version and see if that helps.
If you need instructions on updating I can send them via email.
