Need help troubleshooting a loss of smart term server errors. The smarterm object will not initiate LOGIN-Help
Message is that there may be a problem will server but no problems are evident in our system. I do have the login prompt in OPTION to "alab". Problem started friday night at about 6pm. After the screen sits there at login prompt it goes to Last unsuccessful login : on SMARTTERM object and a pop up window says there may be a problem with server.
please help. |

You can submit a problem report and I will look it over. Instructions at step 3A:

Without knowing more, generally you can try:
1. Close Ol Monitor and use task manager to kill any instances of Smarterm.
Alternatively you can just reboot the pc.
2. Make sure the password hasn't expired in Sunquest, watch the Smarterm screen to see if you can figure out which step it is failing on.
If the above do not work, a problem report takes the guesswork out of troubleshooting.
