How can I use OLMon to test over the test area? The only configuration I find points to the server and expects a single login,i.e. no password, to get access into SQ. This only works with alab moving into the LIVE area. How can I configure it to navigate thru username/password going to TEST??? We currently have 5.4 in LIVE using alab. We also have 5.4 Test and a 6.3 test. I need to test over 6.3. |

If you leave the username and password blank it should work. Does the single alab login get you right to the FUNCTION: prompt? If so the macro should pick up from there. If this doesn't work then you can submit a problem report. Send it after it has tried and failed a couple of times. For info on sending a problem report, proceed to step 3A on the troubleshooting page:
http://www.olmonitor.com/support.html
Another thing to try is to take control of the Smarterm window and get to the FUNCTION prompt yourself while leaving the macro running. The macro goes through various pauses each cycle and you can take control while it is idle. If you can logon and get to the FUNCTION prompt the macro will begin from there. This is not ideal but you can at least see a few logs. |

Accessing the SmarTerm window, *ing at the Access Code and then using the Connection option from the toolbar allowed me to move to another env without leaving the window opened and used by OL.
I had attempted to use the SmartTerm window before but unless you stay within the window opened by OL changes will not effect OL.
Thanks. |

Yes you have to stay on the window opened by OL. So were you able to get control of it long enough to get to FUNCTION? If not the next option would be sending the problem report.
Thanks,
Eric. |
